Graduation Pathway

Photography

The Photography Graduation Pathway prepares students for creative and professional opportunities in photography and visual media by combining artistic expression with technical skill development. This pathway emphasizes hands-on learning, visual storytelling, and industry-relevant practices while building a strong foundation in both traditional and digital photography.

Students will learn camera operation, composition, lighting techniques, and photo editing using industry-standard software. Instruction also includes developing a personal and professional portfolio, understanding ethical and legal considerations, and exploring career opportunities in areas such as portrait, commercial, journalism, and digital media photography. Upon completion of the pathway, graduates are prepared for postsecondary study in photography or visual arts, entry-level creative roles, freelance work, or continued skill development in media-related fields.
