Graduation Pathway

Welding (Pipe)

The Pipe Welding Graduation Pathway prepares students for careers in industrial and construction welding by focusing on the specialized skills required to weld pipe systems. This pathway emphasizes hands-on, applied learning using industry-standard welding processes while reinforcing workplace safety, precision, and quality standards.

Students will develop skills in pipe fit-up, joint preparation, and welding in multiple positions. Instruction includes reading and interpreting blueprints and welding symbols, understanding welding codes and industry standards, and producing high-quality welds designed to withstand inspection and real-world use. Upon completion of the pathway, graduates are prepared for entry-level employment, apprenticeships, or continued postsecondary education in welding technology and related skilled trades.
