HVAC Technician

The HVAC Technician Pathway is designed for students who are interested in mechanical systems, problem solving, hands-on work, and the skilled trades that keep homes, businesses, and industries operating safely and efficiently. This pathway prepares students for careers in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration by combining technical instruction with real-world applications. Through this pathway, students complete coursework through Crowder College while still in high school and graduate with an HVAC Technician Certificate, positioning them for immediate entry into the workforce or continued postsecondary training.

Earn a Recognized HVAC Certificate:
Students take college-level HVAC coursework through Crowder College, culminating in an HVAC Technician Certificate. This credential provides a strong foundation for entry-level HVAC positions and supports continued advancement through apprenticeships, industry certifications, or additional technical training.

Develop Hands-On Technical Skills:
Students gain practical experience working with HVAC systems, tools, and equipment. Coursework includes system installation and maintenance, electrical fundamentals, refrigeration principles, heating and cooling systems, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and safety practices.
