The Diesel Technology – Electrical Graduation Pathway prepares students for entry into the diesel service and repair industry with a focused emphasis on electrical systems. This pathway combines hands-on technical training with foundational academic knowledge to build skills needed to diagnose, service, and repair diesel engines and their electrical components, while emphasizing workplace safety, industry standards, and professional practices.
Upon completion of the pathway, students will graduate with a Diesel Technician Certificate with a specialization in entry-level electrical systems. Students develop foundational electrical knowledge essential to modern diesel technology, including basic electrical theory, wiring and schematics, circuits, starting and charging systems, and introductory electrical diagnostics. Graduates are prepared for immediate entry into the workforce, continued technical training, or further postsecondary education in diesel technology, electrical systems, or related skilled trades.
