Introduction to Welding Technology is a hands-on course designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of welding and metal fabrication. Students will learn essential safety practices, proper tool use, and basic welding principles used in industrial and manufacturing settings.

Instruction includes an overview of welding equipment, materials, and processes, with an emphasis on common welding techniques such as shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) and basic metal preparation. Prerequisites for this course include the successful completion of Introduction to Manufacturing Technology.
